FOND DU LAC, Wis. -- Sadoff & Rudoy Industries LLP (SRI) announced today that it has promoted Mark Lasky to president, making him the firm's third generation leader, following his father Sheldon and grandfather Edward Rudoy.
Under a transition plan developed in 2004, Mark Lasky, who previously served as President of Block Iron and Supply Company (a previous subsidiary of SRI), was scheduled to replace his father as president in 2007 following three years of management training. Mark Lasky will be responsible for implementing strategic plans and day-to-day management of all operating and trading departments. He has been with the company for eight years.
As part of today's announcement, Mark's brother Jason is promoted to vice president of infrastructure and his brother Bradford is promoted to vice president of new business development.
Sadoff & Rudoy Industries, founded by Edward Rudoy in 1947, is a ferrous and nonferrous scrap metal recycling company with headquarters in Fond du Lac. The company, which has six recycling facilities in Wisconsin and another operation in Lincoln, Neb., provides scrap metal recycling services to industry, and ferrous and nonferrous melt products to foundries, mills and smelters. SRI conducts business in more than 30 states as well as Canada, Mexico and China.
