Sadoff & Rudoy Industries LLP Sponsors Oshkosh North High School in the 2007-2008 Mini-Chopper Project

This year was Sadoff & Rudoy’s 4th year in sponsoring an Oshkosh area high school for the Mini-Chopper Project. The project was developed by Fox Valley Technical College and is a similar to the television show West Coast Choppers. The program gives high school students the opportunity to learn the manufacturing process from the planning, design, build, test, and completion phases that are involved in production. The 2008 team consisted of Josh Schmid, Lucas Dodd, Alex Abderholden, Travis Boelke, Justin Miller, Nate Faust, Kyle Walth, Ian Huebner and Casey LaMarche. The instructors who supervised the project are Mr. Felix, and Mr. Clark.

In addition to the bike build the teams also are were required to build a website to document their progress throughout the year. The IT component gives the students a look at product and business integration, which allows them to showcase their hard work and a completed product. Please click here for more information about the 2007-2008 Oshkosh North Mini-Chopper Build.
